What Our Patients Are Saying

4

“We started by looking at my bone structure. They have a lot of advanced technology…Once I saw what could be, I knew there were better days ahead! Dr. O has always been forward and up front. Not only do I have something great to smile about, but my health is so much better.”

“I was having a lot of problems with my dentures and I couldn’t eat my food. I was always having to glue them in. The dentures were so inconvenient. Now look at me, I am happy! I get to eat anything I want… I get to smile… I get to flirt! I’m happy. I’m very, very happy.”

FAQ

1. How much do dental implants cost in Houston, TX?

Dental implant pricing varies depending on whether you need a single implant, multiple implants, or a full-arch All-on-4/All-on-X restoration. In Houston, a single implant typically ranges from $3,000–$5,500, while full arch implants range from $15,000–$28,000+ per arch. At Elite Dental Specialists, we offer monthly payments starting at $65, full arch options starting at $249/month, and $1,000 OFF full arch implants for a limited time.

2. Does dental insurance cover implants?

Most PPO dental plans offer partial coverage, often paying toward:
• Extractions
• CT scans
• Sedation
• Implant crowns
• Temporary teeth
Coverage varies, but our team performs a complimentary insurance benefits check and helps you maximize your plan. We also offer flexible financing options for uncovered portions.

3. Am I a candidate for dental implants?

Most adults qualify for dental implants if they:
• Have one or more missing teeth
• Have healthy gums
• Have sufficient jawbone (or are open to grafting)
• Do not smoke or are willing to quit
• Have controlled medical conditions
Using 3D CBCT imaging, Dr. Obeidi determines whether implants, All-on-4, snap-in dentures, or another solution is best.

    4. How long do dental implants last?

With proper care, dental implants can last 30+ years or even a lifetime. The implant crown or bridge may need replacement every 10–15 years due to normal wear. Dr. Obeidi uses premium implant systems and zirconia restorations, which are designed for long-term durability.

    5. What is the difference between All-on-4 implants and snap-on dentures?

Both provide strong, implant-supported tooth replacement, but differ in stability and cost:

    Snap-On Dentures (Overdentures):
    • Supported by 2–4 implants
    • Removable
    • Affordable
    • Much more stable than traditional dentures

    All-on-4 / All-on-X Fixed Teeth:
    • Attached to 4–6 implants
    • Non-removable
    • Feel closest to natural teeth
    • Best for chewing strength & long-term stability
    • Made from premium zirconia

During your consultation, we’ll show you the pros, cons, and pricing for each option.

    6. Are dental implants painful?

Most patients report mild discomfort only, often less than a simple extraction. We offer:
    • Local anesthesia
    • Oral sedation
IV sedation for total relaxation (patient favorite!)
You’ll leave the office comfortable and with detailed after-care instructions. Most patients return to normal activities within 1–2 days.

    7. How long does the dental implant process take?

A typical implant timeline is 3–6 months, including healing time. But many patients qualify for:
    Teeth-in-a-Day, where:
    • Implants are placed
    • Temporary teeth are attached
    • You walk out with a full smile the same day
Full healing occurs beneath the surface while you enjoy a beautiful temporary smile.
